Kombucha, What is it?


Kombucha is an ancestral drink, with more than 2000 years and Chinese origin.


It results from the process of fermenting green or black tea to which sugar and a culture of bacteria and yeast known as SCOBY are added.

It should be noted that, depending on the fermentation time, you can find kombuchas in the market with or without sugar, as it is absorbed during the process.

It is slightly carbonated, resulting from the natural fermentation process, and has a bittersweet taste, which can vary, depending on whether you choose the original or the flavoured one (also added naturally)

How to consume kombucha and what is the daily dose?


The Kombucha should always be consumed cold and after opening it should be kept in the fridge for a maximum of 3 days, you should also avoid shaking the drink. 

It can be ingested daily, there is no right dose of consumption, it will depend from body to body, but it is believed that between 200-300ml already allows you to achieve all of its benefits.

Can any individual consume a  kombucha?


Yes but?People who have allergies or pathologies with any of the ingredients should always consult their doctor. For pregnant and lactating women, fermented products are beneficial, however, it is important to always consult your doctor before consuming in order to ensure their safe consumption.
